Kindergarten

The Kindergarten program meets three days a week, from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Children entering Kindergarten must be five by September 1 of the current school year.

Kindergarten is designed to be a pleasurable learning experience, and directs the child to a better understanding of himself, his relationship to others, and his relationship to God. The goals that we strive for emphasize experiential development and self-recognition as God's children in God's world. Some of the areas we expect the kindergarten child to develop are personal, social, emotional, motor development, cognitive, language, mathematics, science, reading readiness, and appreciation of the arts.
