Throughout the year, teachers may choose to take their students on field trips during the school day in order to reinforce some of the material being taught in the classroom. This hands-on approach to learning will allow students to get a better grasp on the information and also have fun doing it! Some of these places include: The Apple Orchard, Greenfield Village, The Recycling Plant, Co-Si Musuem, etc. In addition to these field trips, we also offer extended class trips for our older students which are described below. |

Science Camp Every year, students in grades 5 through 8 spend three days experiencing God's wonderful creation. The trips are planned during a different season each year so that no two years will be the same. There will be atleast two teachers chaperoning and parents are encouraged to help out as well. The trip will be held at Howell Nature Center for three years and then at Wildwood Ranch Camp for the fourth. The cost of the trip varies depending on the year. |

Toronto Every year, in late May, the 8th grade class spends a few days touring Toronto, Canada. This trip is designed to reward 8th graders for their hard work before they enter high school the following fall. In Toronto, they will visit the many tourist attractions such as Canada's Wonderland. Our Principal, Bob DeRoo, and his wife chaperone this trip. |

Mackinac Island Every other year, in late May, the 5th and 6th grades look forward to their class visit to Mackinac Island. The three day trip is filled with experiencing the history of our great state, by visiting the forts and other historical landmarks. The class and parent chaperones also enjoy biking the beautiful coast, eating fudge and building memories. For the past few trips the class has been blessed by the opportunity to have a bonfire on Lake Michigan at the Balsams. The class participates in fund raising to offset the costs of this trip. |
