DCS' 50th anniversary celebration
Our celebration of God's blessings
Dearborn Christian School turned 50 years old!!! Our special celebration and school reunion took place on May 31, 2008. The reunion was designed for all former students, teachers, administrators and parents. It was a great opportunity to get together and reunite, remember old times and catch up on what has gone on since leaving DCS. It was also a day to reflect on the way God has richly blessed our school from its beginning to the present time. Our 50th anniversary celebration was open to all who attended Dearborn Christian School for just a couple years or from K thru 8th. The dedicated team of anniversary volunteers also realized that DCS parents developed close ties with each other and all parents were invited to attend.
Our original school building
Attendees were encouraged to visit the original school building, located on Village Road, a short drive down Donaldson from the current school location. DCS moved to the current site in 1973. The old school is currently a Russian Baptist church.
Finding lost classmates
The reunion and anniversary committee volunteers attempted to get addresses for as many former students as possible; but, as time goes by, people move and some last names change due to marriage. Unfortunately, they were not been able to locate everyone. If you know of a classmate's contact information, please visit our Alumni contact page.
